Who Are We?

Hello, my name is Maria Hale, I'm an Ofsted registered childminder based in the Warley area of Brentwood, Essex.

I have 6 children of my own - 5 boys and 1 girl. 

I also have one grandson and one granddaughter.

My children are now all working. 

I love working with children and aim to provide a comforting and nurturing environment, offering plenty of attention with enriching and stimulating activities. 

I live near the woods, parks and fields and take the children out as much as I can to explore.

I endeavour to form a secure bond with every child and work in partnership with parents/carers. 

I have three dogs that love children - they are strictly supervised at all times with the children. I also have three cats! 

I have a safe and secure garden to play in and lots of stimulating resources both inside and out.

I provide full time day care for preschool age children as well as offering the before and after school childminding service for children who attend St Helen's Infants and Junior schools in Sawyers Hall Lane, Brentwood. 

I am open from 7.30am and finish at 5.30pm from Monday to Thursday. 

I live within walking distance of Brentwood station.

I provide breakfast, snacks and evening meals.

I have previously managed a local preschool where I was also the safeguarding officer. I also have experience working with children who have additional needs and IEPs.

I have a sound understanding of delivering the EYFS, offering mark-making, messy play, cooking activities, arts and crafts mixed with plenty of fresh air and exploration. 

Always aiming to feed a child's enthusiasm to make sense of their world and gain social skills as well as academic ones… I take every opportunity to enhance their outcomes.
